Utility Operator – Mobile Service Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our Mobile Service Division in Mobile, AL. The role focuses on cleaning, stripping, and painting AC/DC motor components throughout the repair process, ensuring parts are ready for re‑assembly and shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean internal and external motor parts, frames, cores, armatures, gears, housings and related equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, parts washers and sand‑blasters.
• Run specialized repair equipment including dip tanks, VPI systems, burnout and bake‑out ovens.
• Handle material‑handling equipment like fork trucks and cranes to move motors and parts.
• Paint repaired and assembled motors before they are shipped to customers.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the assigned work area.

Required profile

• Ability to perform stripping operations on AC and DC motor parts.
• Experience operating material‑handling equipment (fork trucks, cranes).
• Consistent adherence to documented procedures and safety guidelines.
• Capability to work with hand tools safely and effectively.
