Utility Operator – Mobile Service Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our Mobile Service Division. In this role you will clean, strip, and paint AC/DC motor components throughout the disassembly and assembly phases of the repair process, while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean internal and external motor parts, frames, cores, armatures, gears, housings, and related equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, parts washers, and sand‑blasters.
• Run specialized repair equipment including dip tanks, VPI systems, burnout and bake‑out ovens.
• Handle material moving equipment like fork trucks and cranes to transport motors and parts.
• Paint repaired and assembled motors before shipment.
• Observe all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain housekeeping in the assigned area.

Required profile

• Ability to perform stripping operations on AC and DC motor parts.
• Proficiency with material handling equipment (fork trucks, cranes).
• Consistent adherence to documented procedures and safety guidelines.
• Capability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.

Required skills

• Operation of steam cleaners, parts washers, sand‑blasters.
• Use of dip tanks, VPI systems, controlled‑temperature burnout ovens.
• Experience with handheld power and non‑power tools.
• Material handling equipment operation (fork truck, crane).
• Motor painting techniques.
