Mechanical Engineer Trainee – Graduate Program

About the role

We are looking for recent Mechanical Engineering graduates to join our transformer manufacturing operations as Graduate Engineer Trainees. The programme provides structured training and hands‑on experience across production, quality control, testing and maintenance of power transformers. Trainees will rotate through key shop‑floor functions, learn industry best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in transformer manufacturing and assembly activities.
• Support production planning and shop‑floor operations.
• Monitor fabrication, tank manufacturing, core assembly, and related mechanical processes.
• Participate in quality inspections and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including Electrical, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
• Prepare production and quality reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Learn and implement manufacturing best practices and lean principles.

Required profile

• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates (2025/2026 pass‑outs) encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and basic understanding of transformers, power systems, and electrical machines.

Required skills

• AutoCAD.
• SolidWorks.
• CAD software (e.g., similar tools).
