About the role
The Operation and Maintenance Trainer will support a UN‑backed health logistics project in Yemen, delivering technical training on cold‑chain and dry‑storage management for national and governorate level vaccine warehouses.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver training modules on cold‑chain management, refrigeration equipment maintenance and dry‑storage best practices.
- Conduct technical assessments of warehouse infrastructure and recommend rehabilitation actions.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions with UNICEF, WHO, MoPHP and local partners.
- Support procurement of furniture, equipment and spare parts required for warehouse upgrades.
- Monitor training outcomes and provide third‑party monitoring reports.
Required profile
- Proven experience in operating and maintaining health storage facilities or similar cold‑chain environments.
- Familiarity with UN or humanitarian project contexts is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple agencies and local authorities.
