Medical Coordinator Support

About the role

MSF is seeking a Medical Coordinator Support professional to assist the Medical Coordinator in Sanaa. The role is part‑time (75% workload) and includes on‑call duties. The incumbent will help ensure that medical activities comply with MSF protocols, national health policies, and international standards of hygiene and patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, supervise and evaluate implementation of medical activities across projects.
• Visit project sites according to a preset schedule and help define human‑resource, material and technical needs.
• Assist in applying MSF protocols, (para)medical standards, hygiene rules and universal precautions.
• Collect information on national health policy through meetings, reports and articles.
• Coordinate medical follow‑up of patients, manage treatment records and oversee related expenses.
• Organise administrative and medical information, including reports, ongoing treatments, patient discharge and return processes.
• Participate in briefings, debriefings and promote communication within the (para)medical team.
• Support employee health policy implementation and contribute to the evaluation of reference hospital structures.
• Assist in medical monitoring of MSF personnel and manage associated expenses.
• Collect and manage project data, prepare periodic reports and archive medical documentation.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Medical Coordinator, such as field team reinforcement or evaluation involvement.

Required profile

• Yemeni national.
• Ability to perform administrative and medical coordination tasks.
• Willingness to work part‑time with on‑call responsibilities.
• Familiarity with medical protocols, hygiene standards and health policy documentation.
