Reproductive Health Manager

About the role

The Reproductive Health (RH) Manager leads the implementation of IRC Yemen’s reproductive health portfolio at community level, through mobile health teams, static health facilities and supported EmONC facilities, as part of a wider RMNCAH intervention. The role ensures RH services are delivered in line with the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP), national guidelines and IRC clinical standards, while providing technical supervision, mentorship and capacity building to RH officers, midwives, doctors and partner staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the reproductive health program across community sites, mobile teams, static facilities and EmONC sites, aligned with MISP and national RH guidelines.
• Ensure RH services meet MISP standards and national/international protocols.
• Coordinate RH programming within Health and integrate it with Protection services, identifying gaps and best practices.
• Facilitate work‑planning based on assessments, data analysis and program learning to ensure responsive, high‑quality RH interventions.
• Provide technical and clinical supervision to RH officers, midwives, doctors, mobile team staff and community health volunteers, including capacity building and performance reviews.
• Conduct field visits to monitor activities, offer technical support and mentor staff for improved service quality.
• Facilitate training and workshops based on identified capacity needs, handling logistics and documentation of indicators.
• Assist in developing budgets and proposals for RH programming to ensure technical soundness and adequate resources.
• Track budget execution, procurement plans and work plans to keep the program on schedule and within budget.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in capacity building, on‑the‑job training, supervision and mentoring of health staff in humanitarian settings.
• Proven ability to coordinate with health and protection teams, local partners and MoPHP authorities, and to lead multi‑disciplinary teams.
