MEAL/HIM Officer (National) – Fixed Term

About the role

The MEAL/HIM Officer will support the implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities and manage health information systems for the PRO project in Marib. Reporting to the Program Quality, Accountability, & Learning Manager, the officer will ensure accurate data collection, analysis and reporting across health, nutrition and related sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, compile, clean and analyse health and programme data, maintaining up‑to‑date digital and physical archives.
• Maintain the Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT) and ensure data aligns with donor reporting requirements.
• Support the design, validation and implementation of data collection tools and surveys.
• Conduct field visits to health facilities and distribution sites to monitor activities, verify data quality and raise awareness of the Feedback and Complaint Response Mechanism (FCRM).
• Provide training and technical assistance to field staff and health facility workers on data collection and reporting processes.
• Document and follow up on feedback and complaints, ensuring they are entered into the FCRM tracker and addressed promptly.

Required profile

• Yemeni national, able to work in Marib and travel to field locations.
• Proven experience in MEAL and health information management within humanitarian programmes.
• Familiarity with donor reporting standards and ability to produce high‑quality reports on a regular basis.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy and confidentiality.

Required skills
