Human Resources Coordinator – Sana’a, Yemen

About the role

The Human Resources Coordinator will lead the design, implementation and oversight of MdM’s HR framework in Sana’a, ensuring that all HR activities support the organization’s humanitarian mission and comply with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Define, adapt and implement the mission’s HR framework, including policies, procedures, compensation and benefits.
• Oversee talent management, staff discipline, career development and learning initiatives.
• Ensure HR activities align with Yemeni labor legislation, MdM policies and humanitarian values.
• Develop HR strategy, workforce planning and budgeting in coordination with senior leadership.
• Maintain organizational structure and contribute HR components to project proposals.
• Provide accurate HR administration, reporting and compliance monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience in human resources coordination or management.
• Strong knowledge of Yemeni labor legislation and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work in a complex humanitarian environment with security and access constraints.
• Excellent communication and team‑building skills.
