Digital Community Liaison Officer (Signpost)

About the role

The Digital Community Liaison Officer (Signpost) will serve as the bridge between crisis‑affected populations and the IRC’s digital platform, ensuring timely, accurate information flows both ways. Working within the IRC Yemen programmes, the officer will help communities access services, voice concerns, and receive safe referrals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage two‑way communication on the Signpost platform, providing up‑to‑date humanitarian information.
• Respond promptly to community inquiries and clarify service options.
• Collect, analyse and report community feedback to inform programme adjustments.
• Identify emerging protection concerns and coordinate safe referrals to relevant partners.
• Support accountability to affected populations by integrating community perspectives into planning.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to humanitarian principles and protection standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, conflict‑affected environment.
• Experience engaging with vulnerable communities, preferably in digital settings.
