Digital Community Liaison Officer – Signpost

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Digital Community Liaison Officer to manage two‑way communication with crisis‑affected communities via the Signpost platform. Based in Yemen, you will help ensure that accurate, timely information reaches communities and that their feedback informs humanitarian programming.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate two‑way digital communication between communities and IRC using the Signpost platform.
• Provide accurate information, respond to inquiries, and guide safe referrals to relevant services.
• Collect, analyze, and report community feedback and emerging concerns.
• Support accountability to affected populations by integrating community perspectives into program design.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, protection, confidentiality, and data‑protection standards.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to humanitarian principles and experience working in crisis settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Capacity to work collaboratively with program teams and local partners.
