Deputy Field Coordinator for Programs (Hodeidah, Yemen)

About the role

Première Urgence Internationale is seeking a Deputy Field Coordinator for Programs to support its humanitarian operations in Hodeidah, Yemen. The role focuses on monitoring program implementation, ensuring contractual compliance, and representing PUI with local partners and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor effective implementation of programs at the base level, ensuring objectives, deadlines, and budgets are met.
• Oversee contractual obligations, coordinate report writing, and ensure compliance with PUI policies.
• Coordinate the MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning) department and develop relevant tools.
• Represent PUI in technical forums, working groups, and coordination meetings with NGOs and authorities.
• Supervise project managers, providing capacity‑building and HR support.
• Assist project managers with logistical and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in monitoring humanitarian programs and reporting on contractual obligations.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and manage MEAL activities.
• Strong representation skills with local humanitarian actors and authorities.
• Capacity to supervise senior program staff and support HR functions.
