About the role
The Case Management Officer will ensure the delivery of high‑quality case management services for children, women and vulnerable groups in Taiz, Yemen. Working under the Project Manager, the officer will supervise social workers, provide technical guidance and coordinate referrals to guarantee an effective response.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and register service requests, code them in the system and direct them to appropriate staff.
- Maintain secure storage of beneficiary data and protect it from unauthorized access.
- Register new visitors, schedule appointments and organize weekly case meetings.
- Provide technical support to social workers handling complex cases.
- Coordinate referrals with other service providers and ensure confidentiality of information.
- Contribute to work plans, periodic reports and identify training needs for the team.
- Participate in field needs assessments and represent the program in case‑management meetings.
- Adhere to Human Access policies, codes of conduct and perform any other tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
Required profile
- University degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Social Work or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in case management, child protection or humanitarian work.
- Advanced written and spoken English.
- Physically fit, presentable and able to work under pressure in challenging environments.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
