Utility Operator – Mobile Service Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our Mobile Service Division. The role involves cleaning, stripping and painting AC/DC motor components throughout the repair process, while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean internal and external motor parts, frames, cores, armatures, gears and housings using steam cleaners, parts washers and sand‑blasters.
• Operate specialized repair equipment such as dip tanks, VPI systems, controlled‑temperature burnout and bake‑out ovens.
• Handle material‑handling equipment including fork trucks and cranes to move and store motors and parts.
• Paint repaired and re‑assembled motors before shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to perform stripping operations on AC and DC motor parts.
• Proficiency in operating material‑handling equipment.
• Attention to detail in following documented procedures.
• Capability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn and retain job‑related training and safety protocols.
