Senior Operations Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a solutions‑driven Senior Operations Coordinator to strengthen and streamline its operations in Yemen. Reporting to the Country Director and sitting on the senior management team, you will ensure that the Operations Department efficiently supports program delivery across multiple governorates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve existing operational structures and processes across Supply Chain, Administration, ICT and Field Coordination.
• Implement standard IRC processes including procurement planning, distribution planning, Project Cycle Management, Integra ERP, and Power BI reporting.
• Stabilise operations and ICT teams to guarantee compliance, cost control, quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Provide operational support to IRC partners, participating in partner capacity assessments and the development and implementation of partner plans.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational activities with program objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior operational roles within humanitarian or large‑scale relief contexts.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on service‑oriented practices.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the Country Director and as part of a senior management team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
