Programme Support Associate (PSU) G5

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Programme Support Associate (PSU) G5 to provide administrative and programme assistance to its mission in Yemen. The role supports project development, donor reporting, and day‑to‑day office operations within a dynamic migration environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect inputs and assist in drafting and reviewing sections of project funding proposals, appeals and related documents.
• Gather data on programme implementation and indicators to prepare donor reports and updates.
• Provide informal translation of documents and reports between Arabic and English as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of correspondence, reporting deadlines, and other administrative information.
• Draft reporting templates, support their use, and follow up with field teams for success‑story inputs.
• Update and process information through internal software tools such as PRIMA and WAVE.
• Perform any additional tasks required to support the unit.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least five years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in social science, business administration or a related field with three years of experience.
• Experience in reporting and contract drafting, familiarity with various reporting and contract templates.
• Previous work with UN agencies or international organisations is an asset.
• Fluency in one of IOM’s official languages (English or Arabic).

Required skills

• Good IT literacy, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
• Experience using internal software tools such as PRIMA and WAVE.
