Case Management Assistant – Child Protection

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a dedicated Case Management Assistant to support child protection activities in Yemen. You will work directly with vulnerable children and their families in mobile centers and camp settings, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct all steps of the case management process for children at risk of abuse, exploitation, neglect, or violence, including unaccompanied and separated children (UASC) and children associated with armed forces and groups (CAAFAG).
• Identify children in need, complete assessments, develop action plans, and provide direct services.
• Document case information accurately, manage referrals, and follow up to ensure service delivery.
• Collaborate with other case workers, service providers, and local partners to coordinate support.
• Maintain a manageable caseload while adhering to IRC standards and protocols.

Required profile

• Passionate, solutions‑driven individual with a commitment to humanitarian work.
• Experience or training in child protection and case management in emergency settings.
• Ability to work effectively with vulnerable children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
