About the role
We are seeking a Vaccine and Cold Chain Management Trainer to support a BMZ‑funded project in Yemen. The trainer will work closely with UN agencies, the Ministry of Public Health and Population and local partners to strengthen the operational capacity of national and governorate health storage warehouses.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver training on cold chain management, maintenance and the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) for warehouse staff.
- Conduct technical assessments of storage facilities and support rehabilitation works.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and coordinate with UNICEF, WHO and MoPHP.
- Assist in procurement of furniture, equipment and cold‑storage tools.
- Support third‑party monitoring and grievance redress mechanisms.
Required profile
- Proven experience in vaccine logistics or cold‑chain operations.
- Background in delivering training or capacity‑building programmes in the health sector.
- Familiarity with the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) and health‑warehouse standards.
- Ability to work in conflict‑affected environments and collaborate with international agencies.
