Utility Operator – Mobile Service Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our Mobile Service Division in Mobile, AL. The role involves cleaning, stripping and painting AC/DC motor parts throughout the repair process, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean internal and external components of motors, frames, cores, armatures, gears and housings using steam cleaners, parts washers, sand‑blasters and other equipment.
• Operate specialized repair equipment such as dip tanks, VPI systems, burnout and bake‑out ovens.
• Handle material‑handling equipment including fork trucks and cranes to move and store motors and parts.
• Paint repaired and assembled motors before shipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to perform stripping operations on AC and DC motor parts.
• Experience operating material‑handling equipment (fork truck, crane).
• Attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of protective gear.
