Utility Operator – Mobile Service Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our Mobile Service Division. The role involves cleaning, stripping, and painting AC/DC motor parts throughout the repair process while adhering to strict safety standards. Opportunities for advancement are available within the company.

Key responsibilities

• Clean internal and external motor components such as frames, cores, armatures, gears, and housings.
• Operate cleaning equipment including steam cleaners, parts washers, and sand‑blasters.
• Run specialized repair equipment like dip tanks, VPI systems, burnout and bake‑out ovens, and various handheld tools.
• Handle material‑moving equipment such as fork trucks and cranes to transport motors and parts.
• Paint repaired and assembled motors before shipment.
• Observe all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization in the assigned work area.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and able to perform stripping operations on AC and DC motor parts.
• Commitment to follow documented procedures and safety guidelines.
• Willingness to wear and use appropriate protective gear.
• Ability to accurately complete required paperwork.

Required skills

• Operation of steam cleaners, parts washers, and sand‑blasters.
• Use of dip tanks, VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) systems, and controlled‑temperature ovens.
• Proficiency with handheld power and non‑power tools.
• Fork truck and crane operation for material handling.
• Motor painting techniques.
