Utility Operator – Mobile Service Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our Mobile Service Division in Mobile, AL. The role focuses on cleaning, stripping, and painting AC/DC motor components throughout the repair process, ensuring all work follows strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean internal and external motor parts, frames, cores, armatures, gears, housings, and related equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, parts washers, and sand‑blasters.
• Run specialized repair equipment including dip tanks, VPI systems, burnout and bake‑out ovens.
• Handle material moving equipment like fork trucks and cranes to transport motors and parts.
• Paint repaired and assembled motors before shipment to customers.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and adhere to all PPE requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to perform stripping operations on AC and DC motor parts.
• Experience operating material‑handling equipment (fork trucks, cranes).
• Consistent adherence to documented procedures and safety protocols.
• Capability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
