Utility Operator – Mobile Service Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join the Mobile Service Division in Mobile, AL. The role focuses on cleaning, stripping and painting AC/DC motor components throughout the repair process, ensuring all work follows strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean internal and external motor parts, frames, cores, armatures, gears and housings using steam cleaners, parts washers and sand‑blasters.
• Operate specialized repair equipment such as dip tanks, VPI systems and temperature‑controlled burnout/bake‑out ovens.
• Handle material‑moving equipment including fork trucks and cranes to transport motors and components.
• Paint repaired and re‑assembled motors before shipment to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.

Required profile

• Ability to perform stripping operations on AC and DC motor parts.
• Proficiency with material handling equipment (fork trucks, cranes).
• Consistent adherence to documented procedures and safety protocols.
• Capability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
• Willingness to learn and retain job‑related training.
