Utility Operator – Mobile Service Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our Mobile Service Division in Mobile, AL. The role focuses on cleaning, stripping, and painting AC/DC motor components throughout the repair process, ensuring high‑quality standards and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Clean internal and external parts of motors, frames, cores, armatures, gears, housings and related equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, parts washers and sand‑blasters.
• Run specialized repair equipment including dip tanks, VPI systems, burnout and bake‑out ovens.
• Handle material moving equipment like fork trucks and cranes to transport motors and parts.
• Paint repaired and assembled motors before shipment to customers.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment.
• Keep the work area organized and adhere to housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Ability to perform stripping operations on AC and DC motor parts.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as fork trucks and cranes.
• Demonstrated capability to follow documented procedures accurately.
• Commitment to safety and proper use of protective gear.
