Senior Finance Partnership Officer

About the role

The Senior Finance Partnership Officer supports program development and grant management for the International Rescue Committee in Yemen. Reporting to the Finance Manager Budgeting & Reporting, the role ensures budgets and grants are managed in compliance with donor regulations and IRC policies.

Key responsibilities

• Champion IRC’s Partnership Excellence for Equality and Results System (PEERS) across all financial interactions.
• Collaborate with partners to develop, finalize, and amend budgets, ensuring timely disbursements.
• Review partner financial reports and supporting documentation for compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation for all sub‑awards and serve as the finance focal point throughout the partnership cycle.
• Participate in partner capacity assessments, financial risk mitigation, and financial closeout activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce or Finance.
• Minimum four years of managerial experience in finance within a non‑profit or international organization.
• Strong leadership, independent work capability, and commitment to staff training.
• Dedication to IRC’s mission and values.

Required skills

• Experience with computerized accounting systems (Integra, Dynamics).
• Proficiency in standard spreadsheet and database programs.
• Budgeting and grant management expertise.
