Medical Coordinator – Humanitarian Health Programs

About the role

Join Médecins du Monde’s Yemen mission to design, implement and monitor quality medical programmes in a challenging humanitarian context. You will supervise the medical team, ensure data‑driven decision‑making and contribute to the country health strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and adapt the medical strategy in line with the overall country plan.
• Design, plan, implement and monitor health activities across primary care, nutrition and sexual & reproductive health.
• Supervise collection, analysis and reporting of health data.
• Recruit, train, manage and motivate the medical team, including pharmacy advisors.
• Oversee pharmaceutical product management and procurement processes.
• Conduct health needs assessments and evaluate medical partners.
• Represent MdM with authorities, partners and NGOs on health issues.
• Contribute to proposal writing, donor reporting and budget management.

Required profile

• MD or advanced degree in Public Health, Nursing, Midwifery or related field.
• At least 2 years experience in humanitarian or development programmes with similar responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition and sexual & reproductive health rights.
• Fluent English; Arabic highly appreciated.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract (6 months) starting December 2026.
• Gross monthly salary of €3,663.
• 13th‑month salary after 6 months seniority.
