HSE Officer – Construction Project (Al Ahlam District)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to join our construction project in Al Ahlam District, Sultan Haitham City. The role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, supporting safe project execution and proactively mitigating risks.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor on‑site HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety observations and risk assessments.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports and lead internal audits.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and training sessions.
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses and accidents, producing timely reports.
• Issue, monitor and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure audit findings are resolved.
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation and coordinate continuous improvement with the project team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven HSE experience in construction projects.
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory); IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA, First Aid and Fire Safety training are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, procedures and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to produce reports, manage audits and close NCR/SOR items.
