About the role
The Admin and Finance Associate will support the implementation of UNDP’s coastal conservation project on Yemen’s southern coastline. The role combines administrative duties with finance support to ensure smooth project operations and compliance with UNDP financial guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain project financial records, process invoices, and monitor budget expenditures.
- Prepare regular financial reports and assist in audit preparations.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, documentation, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with field teams to track procurement and logistics for marine conservation activities.
- Support the preparation of project proposals, donor reports, and other financial documentation.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in administrative and financial support, preferably in an international development context.
- Understanding of UN procurement and financial procedures is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
