QA Technician – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a QA Technician to join our bakery manufacturing site, supporting the Technical team to ensure all products, processes and materials meet the highest standards of food safety, quality and customer compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks and process verification across production.
• Support HACCP monitoring and CCP verification activities.
• Conduct GMP, hygiene and factory standards audits.
• Perform product, environmental and microbiological sampling.
• Assist with allergen control and foreign body management programmes.
• Investigate non‑conformances and quality incidents, including customer complaints.
• Maintain accurate technical records and documentation within the QMS.
• Support calibration activities for technical equipment.
• Work closely with Production and Operations teams to uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience in a QA or Technical role within food manufacturing.
• Understanding of food safety systems such as HACCP and GMP.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
