Warehouse Keeper – Integrated & Sustainable Needs Assistance Project

About the role

The Integrated and Sustainable Needs Assistance (INSAN) project is seeking a Warehouse Keeper to manage medical supplies in high‑risk districts of Hadhramaut Governorate. The role involves receiving, storing, and dispensing medicines and ensuring accurate inventory records over a ten‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Receive medicines and medical supplies, record them with signed receipts, and store them securely.
• Maintain hygiene, organization, and safety standards within the warehouse.
• Dispense supplies to mobile clinics daily using approved documentation and recipient signatures.
• Track clinic returns of medicines and supplies, recording them in supply documents.
• Conduct weekly inventory checks to verify imports, exports, and remaining stock.
• Submit weekly reports on received, disbursed, and remaining quantities to the district supervisor.
• Archive all warehouse records and submit them to the project manager at the end of the contract.
• Participate in regular team meetings and perform any other duties within the scope of the position.

Required profile

• Diploma in pharmacy or high school education with knowledge of medicines and medical supplies.
• At least one year of experience working in a pharmacy or drug store.
• Basic proficiency in English.
• Excellent mental and physical health, with the ability to focus and remain mindful.
• Willingness to work full‑time and no prior convictions related to exploitation, abuse, fraud, or corruption.

Required skills

• Computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
