Remote Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner (NP)

About the role

Medical Director Services PC is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to deliver telemedicine services to nursing homes across multiple states. This remote position allows you to work from home while providing high‑quality clinical care to skilled nursing facility residents.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual patient assessments, including interviews, physical examinations, and review of medical histories.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.
• Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic regimens in accordance with state regulations.
• Develop and implement individualized patient management plans to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians to identify and address short‑term and long‑term patient care issues.
• Adhere to infection‑control policies, federal, state, and local regulations, and professional standards.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Current NP licensure in NY, NJ, GA, TX, PA, AL, or MO (or ability to obtain licensure in these states).
• Minimum of 1‑2 years of skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Willingness to work 3‑12 hour shifts (AM or PM) on a remote basis.
