Entry Level Structural Engineer

About the role

The Structural Engineer will support the design and engineering of civil and structural projects under the guidance of experienced engineers and project leaders. This position offers a recent Civil Engineering graduate or an engineer with 1–2 years of experience the chance to develop structural design, analysis, and project engineering skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with civil and structural engineering calculations and the preparation/modification of plans, designs, and layouts.
• Prepare and organize engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and technical documents.
• Support project proposals, preliminary cost estimates, and research design options for the lead engineer.
• Coordinate engineering work with architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines and use CAD/CAE software to produce documents.
• Assist with field activities, review shop drawings, and support routine project coordination and contract administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Internship or co‑op experience in civil or structural engineering is a plus.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain it is preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other engineering/design software is advantageous.
