Data Entry Intern

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Data Entry Intern to support its Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) unit in Yemen. This position offers a recent graduate the chance to gain hands‑on experience in humanitarian data management, working with health, nutrition and emergency‑health (EH) program data.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, enter, verify and file program data from field focal points on a monthly basis.
• Maintain digital filing systems and ensure data is stored according to IRC standards.
• Flag data quality issues to the Information Management (IM) Manager for timely resolution.
• Support the preparation of program reports by providing accurate data extracts.
• Assist with data entry into CommCare and Excel platforms.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (Bachelor’s degree) with strong attention to detail.
• Motivated, solutions‑driven and able to work under direct supervision.
• Interest in humanitarian work and MEAL practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience using CommCare for data entry.
