WASH Consortium Coordinator – Yemen

About the role

Serve as the primary leader of the Consortium Management Unit (CMU) and the secretariat for the Consortium Steering Committee (CSC), ensuring strategic alignment, effective coordination among partners, and successful delivery of the ECHO HIP 2026 project deliverables in Yemen.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the CMU and manage the consortium’s day‑to‑day operations and multi‑partner coordination.
• Develop and submit donor proposals, particularly ECHO‑funded programmes, and oversee financial analysis and reporting.
• Represent the consortium at high‑level meetings and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Social Sciences or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of humanitarian management experience, with proven success in facilitating complex consortia and ECHO proposal development in conflict‑affected settings.
• Strong technical knowledge of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programming, public health engineering and promotion, and the links between WASH, health and nutrition.
• Commitment to feminist principles, gender equality, inclusion and safeguarding.
