Utility Operator – Mobile Service Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our Mobile Service Division in Mobile, AL. The role involves cleaning, stripping, and painting AC/DC motor parts throughout the repair process while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean internal and external components of motors, frames, cores, armatures, gears, housings, and related equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, parts washers, and sand‑blasters.
• Run specialized repair equipment including dip tanks, VPI systems, burnout and bake‑out ovens, and various handheld tools.
• Handle material‑moving equipment like fork trucks and cranes to transport and store motors and parts.
• Paint repaired and assembled motors before shipment.
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain housekeeping in the assigned area.

Required profile

• Ability to perform stripping operations on AC and DC motor parts.
• Proficiency in operating material‑handling equipment (fork trucks, cranes).
• Accurate completion of required paperwork and adherence to procedures.
• Capability to understand and retain job‑related training, operational, and safety protocols.
