Utility Operator – Mobile Service Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our Mobile Service Division in Mobile, AL. The role involves cleaning, stripping and painting AC/DC motor parts throughout the repair process while strictly following safety procedures and using the required personal protective equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean internal and external components of motors, frames, cores, armatures, gears, housings and related equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, parts washers and sand‑blasters.
• Run specialized repair equipment including dip tanks, VPI systems, burnout and bake‑out ovens, and various handheld tools.
• Handle material‑moving equipment like fork trucks and cranes to transport motors and parts.
• Paint repaired and assembled motors before they are shipped back to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.

Required profile

• Ability to perform stripping operations on AC and DC motor parts.
• Experience operating material‑handling equipment (fork trucks, cranes).
• Consistent adherence to documented procedures and safety guidelines.
• Capability to work with hand tools safely and effectively.
• Willingness to learn and retain job‑related training.
