Systems & Server Specialist (Infrastructure, Virtualization, Cloud)

About the role

Al-Qutaibi Trading Group is looking for a skilled Systems & Server Specialist to maintain a secure, highly‑available IT infrastructure across its multi‑branch operations. The role covers server administration, virtualization, backup, domain services, DNS, and cloud integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot physical and virtual Windows and Linux servers.
• Apply security hardening, patching and performance optimisation; monitor server health and availability.
• Deploy and manage VMware or Hyper‑V environments, create VMs, templates and allocate resources.
• Implement Veeam Backup & Replication, design backup strategies and perform restoration testing.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, domain controllers and manage identity services.
• Handle domain migrations, transfers and ensure stable access management.
• Manage internal and external DNS servers, zones, records and perform DNS migrations.
• Support hybrid cloud integrations and digital certificate management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Experience implementing backup solutions with Veeam.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS management.
• Ability to design and maintain high‑availability and disaster‑recovery solutions.
