About the role
The Sales Unit Head will lead the sales unit, overseeing forecasting, distributor performance, and market analysis across Yemen and Saudi Arabia. This senior position coordinates marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and logistics support while driving new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and validate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
- Evaluate distributor performance on sales, stock levels, and market coverage.
- Prepare periodic reports on sales, inventory, and market insights.
- Coordinate and execute marketing plans with distributors.
- Review pricing, promotional offers, and financial settlements.
- Conduct regular meetings with distributors and internal sales/promotion teams to assess performance and define action plans.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and address operational challenges.
- Support logistics, shipping, and compliance processes.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Lead special projects, performance initiatives, and annual sales planning, budgeting, and KPI setting.
- Lead demand forecasting and align planning across functions.
- Evaluate and optimize the distribution network.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis.
Required profile
- Minimum university degree.
- Relevant experience in sales or a related field.
- Basic to good proficiency in English.
- Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and customer relationship management abilities.
- Preferred age around 35 years.
- Willingness to travel within Yemen and to Saudi Arabia as needed.
