Program Coordinator – Yemen (M/F)

About the role

Secours Islamique France is seeking a Program Coordinator to lead its humanitarian programmes in Yemen. Reporting to the Head of Mission, you will supervise programme activities and local staff, ensuring effective implementation and compliance with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the mission’s operational strategy through context analysis, needs assessments, budgeting and HR planning.
• Design and plan projects, including baseline surveys and action proposals.
• Oversee project implementation, activity planning, monitoring and verification of results.
• Manage partnerships, define modalities, supervise capacity‑building plans and ensure partner oversight.
• Prepare and submit reports for the Head of Mission, donors and ad‑hoc purposes.
• Monitor programme budgets, validate expenditures and address any delays or issues.

Required profile

• Master’s level qualification in International Relations, Political Sciences, Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in humanitarian work, including strategic thinking and project planning.
• Proven ability to manage national and expatriate staff in insecure environments.
• Strong written and spoken English; French and/or Arabic are a plus.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of project management tools such as logical framework analysis and project cycle management.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
