Mechanical Supervisor – Maintenance Operations

About the role

Oman Tank Terminal Co. (OTTCO) is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead mechanical maintenance operations across its terminals in Duqm. The role ensures reliability, safety, and efficiency of pumps, compressors, valves, pipelines, storage tanks and other rotating and static equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance for mechanical assets.
• Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and timely restoration of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, OEM recommendations and international standards.
• Record activities in CMMS (SAP, Maximo or equivalent) and monitor maintenance KPIs.
• Conduct inspections, vibration analysis, alignment and balancing of critical equipment.
• Coordinate equipment isolation, testing, handover and recommissioning with operations teams.
• Support shutdown and turnaround planning and execution.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and engineering documents for new projects.
• Supervise technicians, contractors and third‑party service providers, providing technical guidance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or similar role in oil & gas, petrochemical or tank terminal environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical reliability, equipment integrity and HSE compliance.
• Ability to work onsite across multiple terminals and coordinate with operations teams.
