Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead Burum Seafood’s transportation, warehousing, inventory and overall supply‑chain activities. This position ensures that all logistics processes are efficient, cost‑effective and meet the strict requirements of frozen seafood export.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee transportation, warehousing and inventory management for fresh and frozen seafood products.
• Coordinate international export operations, including shipping documentation, customs clearance and freight forwarding.
• Maintain cold‑chain integrity and manage temperature‑controlled transportation.
• Work closely with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs authorities and overseas customers.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, Incoterms and Letters of Credit.
• Monitor and optimise logistics costs while meeting delivery schedules.
• Handle multiple logistics projects simultaneously under pressure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or export operations, preferably in the seafood or frozen‑food sector.
• Proven track record managing international frozen‑product exports.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
