About the role
The Logistic Assistant will support the delivery of life‑saving protection services to IDPs and conflict‑affected populations in Marib. This six‑month fixed‑term position works both at community centres and in the field, reporting to the Project Manager, Logistic Officer and Finance Officer.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring the movement of goods and supplies.
- Maintain inventory records and ensure accurate documentation of receipts and distributions.
- Support transport arrangements for field activities and community‑center deliveries.
- Prepare regular logistics reports for project management and finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with organizational safeguarding and anti‑fraud policies.
Required profile
- Internal applicants only; must be legally present in Marib.
- Ability to work in a humanitarian environment serving IDPs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Good communication skills for coordination with project staff and partners.
