ICLA Technical Assistant – Amran

About the role

The ICLA Technical Assistant supports the implementation of NRC’s ICLA programme in the Amran area, ensuring safe, inclusive and accountable protection practices. The role involves day‑to‑day coordination of activities, monitoring of case management and providing direct assistance to beneficiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Implement ICLA project activities in line with approved proposals, donor requirements and NRC policies.
• Conduct regular field visits to deliver ICLA services, monitor progress and verify completion.
• Develop and maintain case management systems and databases of beneficiaries.
• Provide direct assistance to individuals, including protection monitoring and capacity‑building sessions.
• Support needs assessments, surveys and focus‑group discussions to inform programme design.
• Analyse protection issues affecting ICLA beneficiaries and report findings to the Project Officer.

Required profile

• University degree in law, social studies, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in protection or human‑rights work with an NGO or international organization, preferably in Yemen.
• Experience working in complex, volatile humanitarian contexts and documented results in similar roles.
