Gardening Headman

About the role

The company is seeking a motivated Gardening Headman to lead a team responsible for maintaining gardens and sports fields. This full‑time, onsite position requires hands‑on expertise in plant care and the ability to plan long‑term horticultural operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise planting, pruning, fertilising, and general care of trees, shrubs and ornamental plants.
• Oversee grass mowing, preparation of flower beds, and potting of plants.
• Maintain sports fields, ensuring surfaces meet user expectations and safety standards.
• Inspect grounds regularly and make decisions that consider long‑term effects on plant health and landscape aesthetics.
• Coordinate a team of gardeners, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of practical gardening experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in sports field maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Male candidates preferred as per posting requirements.
• Self‑motivated with strong observational skills.
