Electronics Quality Control Engineer

About the role

Becklar is seeking an Electronics Quality Control Engineer to join its hardware team in Ogden, Utah. You will work under the VP of Hardware and the Principal Engineer to ensure that our wireless medical pendants and watches meet rigorous specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain test benches equipped with computers, measurement instruments, robotic and software tools.
• Collaborate with embedded development engineers to write and execute test procedures and test plans.
• Log test results, generate reports, and record data in databases or spreadsheets.
• Analyze data, debug hardware and software issues, and coordinate troubleshooting with development teams.
• Approve software updates for release and verify test results from development partners.
• Review support issues and create work items for corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded systems testing, manufacturing, or OEM liaison.
• Familiarity with quality certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma, CQE, CQA, CQM or RAB is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C, C++ and Python programming.
• Experience with embedded development tools, debugging and simulation.
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors and communication protocols (Wi‑Fi, 4G LTE, CAT1, CATM1, GPS, Bluetooth).
• Ability to create and maintain test automation scripts and requirements traceability documentation.
