Case Worker (National) – Child Protection

About the role
Save the Children International is seeking dedicated Case Workers to support vulnerable children across Aden, Lahj and Taiz. Under the guidance of a Case Management Officer, you will identify, document and respond to the needs of at‑risk children, ensuring they receive essential services and protection.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments of child protection cases and prioritize based on risk.
- Develop and implement case plans with children and families, coordinating referrals to medical, legal and psychosocial services.
- Identify, trace and reunify unaccompanied and separated children following established SOPs.
- Monitor case progress through regular home visits and adjust plans as needed.
- Facilitate case conferences for complex cases and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation using national case management forms.
Required profile
- Strong commitment to child protection and safeguarding principles.
- Ability to work flexibly, including outside normal hours when required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with families, communities and stakeholders.
- Experience in humanitarian or NGO settings is an advantage.
