Capacity Building Trainer – National Consultant (Home‑based)

About the role
UN Women Yemen is seeking a qualified national consultant to design and deliver an online capacity‑building training programme for women‑led civil society organisations. The trainer will focus on Results‑Based Management, Project Design & Management and Monitoring & Evaluation, aligning all content with UN Women and UN system standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive training modules on RBM, project design and M&E tailored to CSOs operating in fragile and humanitarian contexts.
- Facilitate interactive virtual sessions, provide practical examples and guide participants through real‑world applications.
- Prepare training materials, handouts and assessment tools that reflect gender‑responsive and conflict‑sensitive approaches.
- Coordinate with the Programme Analyst, WPSH and the wider programme team to ensure consistency with project objectives.
- Monitor participant progress, collect feedback and produce post‑training reports.
Required profile
- Proven experience in capacity building for NGOs, especially women‑led organisations.
- Strong knowledge of UN Women standards, humanitarian and peace‑building contexts.
- Excellent facilitation and virtual teaching skills.
- Ability to work independently from a home‑based setting and deliver high‑quality outputs on schedule.
