Asset and Procurement Officer

About the role

The Asset and Procurement Officer will provide comprehensive logistics support to all field offices of the Save the Children Yemen Programme. The role focuses on managing, verifying, storing, reporting and disposing of assets while establishing a reliable master asset register for future system integration.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical verification of all assets, including tagging, labeling and documentation.
• Record verification findings, identify discrepancies and generate accurate asset reports.
• Maintain and update the master asset register, ensuring data readiness for system integration.
• Support selected procurement activities, preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with Save the Children policies and donor regulations.
• Coordinate with the supply chain coordinator and head of supply chain on asset and procurement matters.

Required profile

• Experience in asset management and procurement within a humanitarian or NGO context.
• Familiarity with Save the Children policies, donor regulations and best procurement practices.
• Ability to work across multiple field offices in Yemen.
