Account Executive – Remote (Alabama)

About the role

VC3 is looking for a high‑performing Account Executive to expand its presence across Alabama and surrounding markets. This fully remote, full‑time position focuses on driving growth by connecting municipal and organizational challenges to VC3’s IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete sales cycle from cold outreach to closing deals.
• Source and engage new prospects through curated lists, cold calling, and community networking.
• Attend local events and trade shows to build brand awareness.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations, quotes, and proposals tailored to client needs.
• Maintain accurate sales activity reports and business documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in a quota‑bearing, hunting role.
• Proven track record in consultative, solution‑based selling, including business case development and client follow‑up.
• Experience selling IT services such as MSP, cloud, VOIP, or cybersecurity is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with municipal clients or public‑sector decision makers is advantageous.
