About the role

The Simulation Centre at McGill University is seeking part‑time Standardized Patients to support health‑care training. You will portray realistic patient scenarios, helping learners practice clinical skills in a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately reenact the medical history and symptoms of a designated patient case.
• Provide directed feedback to learners when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to centre policies.
• Follow a flexible schedule, typically around 5 hours per week.

Required profile

• High School Diploma with at least one year of experience in dramatic arts.
• Background or interest in health‑care settings.
• Strong communication abilities and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and prepare materials autonomously.

Required skills

• Acting or role‑play experience.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology (preferred).
