Programme Support Associate (PSU) – G5 in Aden

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Programme Support Associate (PSU) – G5 to provide administrative and programme assistance to project components implemented by the IOM mission in Yemen. Working under the Programme Support Coordinator and Programme Support Officer, the associate will help ensure smooth operations and effective delivery of migration‑related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to programme teams, including document preparation and filing.
• Draft, review and manage contracts and related reporting documents using established templates.
• Prepare regular programme reports and assist in data collection and analysis.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops and travel logistics for staff and partners.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement, inventory and financial transactions.
• Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with IOM policies and UN standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least five years of relevant professional experience, or a bachelor’s degree in social science, business administration or a related field with three years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience in reporting and contract drafting.
• Familiarity with UN agency procedures is an asset.
• Fluency in English (one of IOM’s official languages).
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and adapt to the security context of Yemen.
