About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator will lead the development and implementation of MdM’s HR framework in Yemen, ensuring that policies, procedures, compensation, and talent management practices are adapted to the local context and aligned with organisational values.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement HR strategy, workforce planning and budgeting in coordination with senior leadership.
- Maintain and adapt the organisational structure, contributing HR components to project planning.
- Oversee the implementation of internal HR procedures, policies, compensation and benefits schemes.
- Manage talent acquisition, staff discipline, career development, learning programmes and team‑building initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Yemeni labour legislation, MdM policies and humanitarian standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience in HR coordination or management, preferably in humanitarian or non‑profit settings.
- Strong knowledge of local labour laws and ability to adapt HR practices to challenging environments.
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
